Brush up on your stick skills, stay active, and have fun! That’s what the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA Lacrosse workshops are all about. These workshops can act as preparation for the spring leagues, used for a cross-training workout, and participation in the unique sport of lacrosse. With its roots in Native American culture, over the past 300 years lacrosse is a sport that has become “the fastest on two feet.”
These workshops require no experience. One YMCA workshop will feature grades 1 -7 and is intended to be a basic skills class. A second workshop will be for grades 8 - 12 will be a skills class with a scrimmage at each session.

The registration fee is $25 for Y members and $50 for non-members. A late fee will be assessed for anyone registering past the September 15 deadline. Forms available on-line at www.gtbayymca.org and registration is at the Y Main Facility at 3000 Racquet Club Drive just south of Airport Road in Traverse City.
