Y Needs your help!

Through the generosity of Harbor View Center, the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA has been allowed to create a fundraiser to benefit the Y through providing parking for a fee for the National Cherry Festival. Volunteers are needed for shifts during specific times of the National Cherry Festival to gather parking fees, guiding cars to parking spots, and work concession sales of donated Coca Cola products.

Proceeds from this activity will benefit the YMCA.

Parking lot is located at 333 Grandview Pkwy, Traverse City. It's across from volleyball courts on the West Bay.

Each shift will have a team of a YMCA staff member or board member and 4 volunteers.

Your help will make this successful! Bring yourself! Bring your friends. Call Dave at 933-9622 or dave@gtbayymca.org . We are in particular need for this weekend. And we have fun doing it!

The children of the Y Early Childhood Center recently created a hand-print American flag that was included in a care package for an overseas Army battalion.  Today, we received this photo of our flag in Afghanistan.  What a treat for the students to see that their flag made it to the troops!
